Harvey has acted as ‘everything was normal’ after the alleged murders

According to Mr Penman records of Harvey had sent two quotes to customers 6.21 pm and 6.37 pm Tuesday, “as if everything was normal”.
“The quotes are awesome. Very courteous and well mannered, but were sent before and then, suddenly, five hours later they are dead,” she told the Mail Online.
“He was telling us multiple times that everything was fine, went well, had a lot of work and enjoyed what he was doing.”
Harvey had a 4.6 rating out of five, Mr Penman said. “There must have been something going on we knew nothing.”

The sister of Mara Lee Harvey, who was killed with her mother and three young daughters in their Bedford home to Perth last week, has revealed the heartbreaking way, he discovered his family was dead.
Speaking to Nine News, Taryn Tottman said that he had turned on the television and recognized his sister in the house with the news.
“You can never recover from something like this,” Ms Tottman said that Nine. “A part of me, I didn’t think that was true.”

The brother-in-law Alan Tottman said that there has never been any indication that Ms Harvey was in danger.
“It’s just a very raw time, it’s just unfathomable,” he said. “We are not able to come to terms with what has happened, we do not know why it happened.
“There was no indication of problems, problems.”
Mr. Harvey allegedly used a blunt instrument, and knives to kill his five family members. The police says that has remained in the house for days, before departure, about 1,500 km north, and then turned to Sunday.
Mr Harvey, who runs a Jim’s Mowing franchise, gave no hint of financial or emotional problems in the last few months, said Jim chief executive officer of the Group Jim Penman at the beginning of this week.

Ms Tottman said the last time he saw his mother, and his sister was at a funeral, on the 27th of August, and both seemed fine. “We were sisters. We had moments where we laughed. We laughed,” she told Nine.
The couple said their two younger children did not understand what had happened to their family, but their son including.
“There is only a certain amount understands, therefore, his innocence makes it easier,” Ms Tottman said.
“Didn’t want to go to Grandma’s more, he didn’t like because she’s not there.”
Mr Tottman added: “Grandma is gone, Aunt Mara is gone. It is very difficult to watch their little faces and explain that.”

The couple also thanked the community for their support. “Strangers have been amazing, overwhelming. My mom would have been humiliated,” Ms Tottman said.
“Everyone has been so supportive and so encouraging … it’s nice to know that people care.”
Mr Tottman said that the family would never recover from their loss.
“This will be for always. Time will heal the pain, but this will only go on forever,” he said.
A page on GoFundMe has so far collected more than $18,000 for the family for the funeral. It is the third family mass murder in WA in four months, representing 15 of the 23 domestic violence-related deaths in the state this year.
Mr. Harvey is due to face in court for the second time next week.
