From the world’s cheapest electric car Baojun E100 there was an updated version with extended range and advanced security systems.

Externally similar to the Chinese electric car Smart ForTwo Baojun E100 appeared in August of last year. The car was developed and produced for the Chinese market in a joint venture SAIC-GM-Wuling. The cost of model – less than six thousand dollars.

Updated Baojun E100 is equipped with the same motor power 29 kW (39 HP, 110 N•m) and improved battery pack is allowed to increase the reserve of electric cars from 155 to 200 km, Maximum speed – 100 km/h.

In addition to the existing base model ABS, system brake force distribution, electric power steering, electronic Parking brake and Parking sensors, upgraded Baojun E100 got Bluetooth and a system of automatic warning about pedestrians.
