Bolton: if Syria again used chemical weapons that it would be tougher
Advisor to the President of the trump national security John Bolton said Monday that the United States, Britain and France decided that the new use of chemical weapons by the Syrian army will entail a “much stronger response” compared to the previous air strikes.
“In the last days we tried to convey the idea that, if the third time will be the use of chemical weapons, the reaction will be much tougher,” said Bolton, answering questions of journalists.
“I can say that we are consulting with Britain and France, which supported our second strike, and they also believe that the use of chemical weapons would entail much more severe response,” he added.
