Banned in the Ministry for the support of sexual minorities, the Moldovan priest is forgiven

Chisinau. August 10. INTERFAX – Dismissed from worship for the support of sexual minorities Moldovan priest Maxim Melinte returned to previous works, reported “Interfax” the Secretary of the Metropolitanate of Chisinau Archpriest Vadim cabas, adding that the Maxim was forgiven after a public repentance.

“The ecclesiastical court of the Archdiocese on 8 August took the decision to withdraw from the M. Melinte ban on sacraments and worship. In the decree signed by the then Metropolitan of Chisinau and all Moldova Vladimir, it is noted that from 9 August 2018 priest Maxim Melinte may again perform religious rites,” – said the representative of the Archdiocese.

As before, the Maxim will conduct services in the Church of the Intercession of the Mother of God in the outskirts of Chisinau – the village of Ghidighici.
