- Wyre has teamed up with the Polygon blockchain protocol.
- The partnership with Polygon will allow them to offer USDC tokens to customers.
In addition, the team stated that with the integration of Wyre’s Checkout API in the Polygon ecosystem, developers worldwide could provide Polygon’s USDC token to their clients.
What is more, the integration would offer a secure fiat to USDC onramp not only for customers in 43 US states but also around the globe in a short period. Notably, in less than 30 seconds.
Of note, the Wyre team stated that Polygon’s USDC token is also available with both Wyre’s Check and Card Processing API.
Wyre CEO and co-founder Ioannis Giannaros expressed his excitement following this partnership. Giannaros said,
“Wyre is excited to announce our integration with Polygon. Our Checkout API enables developers to quickly and easily provide fiat to USDC onramp for their users, making the Polygon network more accessible than ever before”
“We are really looking forward to working together with the Polygon team, as well as their developer ecosystem, to enhance their customer experience for everyone interacting with this ambitious protocol,” said Giannaros.
Furthermore, Sandeep Nailwal, co-founder and COO at Polygon, praised Wyre’s work. He stated that Wyre is putting everything into building a secure fiat-to-crypto onramp for the world to use. He went on to say that “as the latest project to join Wyre’s mission, we’re doing what we can to bring millions of potential users into the crypto space.” Since 2013, Wyre has been working to provide world-class payment APIs. The firm has onboarded over 15 million end-users to their partners and processed over $10 billion in payments since the beginning.
