Despite the metal body and slim frame, the previous laptops of the company looked cheap. Now it’s different. To replace the “slick” forms came from simple lines. Metal case made of magnesium alloy and aluminum no longer looks like painted plastic and attaches to the Samsung Notebook 9 Pro a premium look. Inside is a powerful six-core processor Intel Core i7-8565U with integrated graphics UHD 620, 8 GB of RAM and storage 256 GB. Other configurations not yet announced, although the version with at least 16GB of RAM would not hurt. 13.3-inch Full HD display supports touch input. The included active stylus, but it has no slot for the pen will have to carry separately.

On the sides there are two Thunderbolt ports and 3 standard USB-C, 3.5 mm headset Jack, card reader for microSD (why not SD, Samsung?) and power button with fingerprint scanner. The battery 55 WHr supports fast charging.

Samsung Notebook Flash

About the price and release dates Samsung Notebook 9 Pro manufacturer modestly silent. The second “innovation” was already known to us the laptop with a retro design Samsung Notebook Flash with a price tag of $350 for the basic version with Intel Celeron N4000, 4 GB of RAM and eMMC storage of 64 GB.

Recently Samsung also announced gaming laptop line Odyssey with the top graphics NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080. While it is known not so much. 15.6-inch Full HD panel with a refresh rate of 144 Hz supports G-Sync. During the performance meets the processor Intel Core i7 of the eighth generation, RAM 16 GB, a data storage subsystem consists of SSD-drive capacity of 256 GB and hard disk to 1 TB. Interfaces promise three full-sized USB 3.0 port, universal USB Type-C, HDMI and Ethernet.

Samsung Notebook Odyssey will be released in early 2019, the price is unknown. All these laptops are unlikely to be officially delivered to our market — computer division of Samsung long ago curtailed sales in the European region.
