Nokia Vega (RX-107) received a 6.6-inch huge by today’s standards. Its characteristics today are nothing new: a Quad-core chip NVIDIA Tegra 3, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory with the possibility of expansion, the main camera of 8 MP and megapixel front-facing module for video calling. But some manufacturers can learn from the “old Nokia”, which was already realized that NFC is convenient. It is also planned built-in 3G modem and magnetic charging.

The tablet was running Windows RT, so the company didn’t lose much, refusing to release Nokia Vega. Because of the numerous limitations, users did not appreciate the operating system, and manufacturers quickly abandoned it.

Insider Evan Blass in 2015, wrote that in addition to the Lumia 2520 in development were four tablet codenamed Illusionist, Mercury, Pine and Vega/Atlas. None of them never saw the light. Probably, Microsoft decided to focus on the ruler Surface.

Around the same period in the laboratories were tested Nokia interesting Lumia smartphone with a thin framework on three sides of the screen. Then only Sharp indulged their user devices with edge-to-edge design, and then only in Japan.
