Sony continues to revive the classic game from PlayStation One and officially announced the remake of MediEvil.
What is known

The first MediEvil was released in 1998 on the first PlayStation and after 20 years got to PlayStation 4 with improved graphics. So Sir Daniel Fortescue returned and is again ready to fight evil, but now in FullHD. The output of a remake is scheduled for 2019, and more information players will receive in the coming months.

Just note that the project was assigned to Sony International Software Development and Other Ocean Interactive. The latter has already worked on The Amazing Spider-Man for Nintendo DS, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for Xbox LIVE Arcade and Minecraft for 3DS.

MediEvil is an action adventure about brave sir Daniel Fortescue. In 1286 knight defended the Kingdom from attack troops sorcerer Zarok. Despite the death from the first arrow, the army Fortescue defeated the evil wizard, but 100 years later the sorcerer came back, and, raising his army again attacked the Kingdom. Together with his colleagues Vow raised, and sir Daniel Fortescue, who decides to regain his honor and glory.
