Cabinet appointed the first independent members of the Supervisory Board of “Ukrposhta”

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at its Wednesday meeting approved the Supervisory Board of PJSC “Ukrposhta”, consisting of five independent members and two representatives from the state.

So, the independent members of the Supervisory Board appointed: Benoit Splash (Belgium) — Manager in the FMCG and retail sector with more than 20 years of experience in managerial positions; Yona Saluveer (Estonia) — has over 15 years of managerial experience, including over 7 years in the postal operator in Estonia, Omniva; See Karnofsky Jakub (Poland) — has experience in the field of Finance, industry and investment; Tom Jensen (Denmark) — for more than 15 years of management experience in international Corporation Bunge; Mado Oksana (Ukraine) — more than 10 years of experience in senior positions in multinational companies in the financial sector.

State representatives approved: Alexander Ozerin (head of the Directorate of state policy in the field of digital infrastructure, transport and postal services Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, head of Ukrainian construction project Hyperloop — HypeUA) — worked in private companies in the investment sector and state-owned enterprises; Yuri Tustanovsky (head of the patronage service of the first Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine) — has experience of operations management in the commercial financial sector companies.

The selection of independent members of the Supervisory Board carried out an international recruiting company Amrop.

As reported, the Commission for selection of candidates for positions of independent members of the Supervisory Board of PJSC “Ukrposhta” has approved a list of 79 people to participate in the contest.

“Ukrposhta” enters into the sphere of management of the Ministry of infrastructure. Provides around 50 types of services 10.6 thousands of branches throughout Ukraine, and about 1.2 thousand located on the controlled Ukraine territory. The staff of the company has 76 employees, of which 33 thousands of postmen, 13 thousand — postal operators.

PJSC “Ukrposhta” in 2017 has received 203 million UAH of net loss and increased net income by 19.57% to UAH 5.5 billion.
