In protest against burning of Church in Karelia Orthodox activists of Ulyanovsk polished frame for the construction of the temple

Moscow. August 22. INTERFAX – a Group of Orthodox youth of the Simbirsk diocese polished frame constructed of a wooden Church in honor of the Kazan icon of the Mother of God in Ulyanovsk.

“Not so long ago in the pages of many news portals had posted messages about the loss of the old wooden Church in Karelia. According to some, the cause of the fire was arson, which was committed by a teenager. His participation in the building of churches in our city, we want to show that our generation is not lost, that the youth of the road shrines that young people can not only destroy but to build,” – said the head of the diocesan Department for work with youth Sergey Nikolaev, quoted by the press service of the diocese.

The activist is convinced that “if we are not indifferent and lazy, if not let the cares and vanities of this world is to capture our mind and heart, in place of the lost temple tomorrow there ten others.”

Young activists came three times in the construction of the temple, where his hands were on the edges of the logs and did the cleaning of the territory.
