Boston Globe urges journalists to protest against the statements trump on the media

Editorial Board of the newspaper the Boston Globe called on fellow journalists to protest President Donald Trump, who often criticizes the American media, calling them “enemies of the people”.

The publication calls for a protest action on August 16, publishing independent materials on trump’s attacks on the media. At the moment, according to the Associated Press, the action has agreed to contribute 70 publications, from major daily Newspapers such as the Miami Herald and Denver Post, to editions the local level.

The appeal applies only to the authors of the editorial articles that operate independently from news correspondents and editors. As explained in the pages of the Washington Post, that distinction was made in the interests of readers who “have the right to read the facts in the news columns and the opinions in the editorial and opinion articles”.
