In Afghanistan, eight people died in the blasts at the stadium

MOSCOW, may 19 — RIA Novosti. The result of the triple explosion in Jalalabad eight persons were killed, 45 were injured, reports channel Tolo News, citing a representative of the Governor of Nangahar province in the North-East of Afghanistan, Attaullah Khogyani.

According to him, the explosions took place at the city stadium during a cricket match. Among those killed was the organizer of the competition and Deputy mayor of the city Mihtarlam in the Laghman province.

According to the channel, the radical movement “Taliban”* denies any involvement in the explosion.

Earlier, on may 13, in Jalalabad, a suicide bomber detonated an explosive device near the building of the customs Department. In the result, six people were killed and about 20 injured. After the explosions, a group of unidentified armed men attacked the building.
