The head of state spoke to reporters

U.S. Secretary of state Mike Pompeo said on Thursday that North Korea has confirmed to the American side its commitment to denuclearization.

Speaking to reporters at the White house, the foreign Minister of the United States stressed that both sides were serious about the proposed negotiations.

Pompeo stressed that the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula – the only result of the summit, which recognizes the President trump.

He also noted that in the case that the diplomatic process will not go in the desired direction, sanctions against North Korea will be strengthened.

However, U.S. Secretary of state said that the denuclearization will open up North Korea to new opportunities.

On the question of whether contacts between Washington and Pyongyang progress in the harmonization of the concept of denuclearization, Pompeo replied in the affirmative.

The head of state also said that after the summit he will visit Beijing.
