MOSCOW, may 11 — RIA Novosti. The oldest inhabitant USA and Delphine Gibson died at the age of 114 years, said the Governor of Pennsylvania Tom wolf.
Since 2004, the long-lived in the care center for the elderly in the Pennsylvania town of Huntingdon.
“I am deeply saddened by the news of the death of Delphine Gibson, the oldest of all US citizens. She has lived in Pennsylvania for over 90 years. We will miss her,” wrote the Governor on Twitter.
Gibson, who was born 17 August 1903, became the oldest living person in America since the death of Adele Dunlap in February 2017.
Now, according to the verified list of centenarians compiled by researchers in gerontology, the title of the oldest resident has passed to 113-year-old lassie brown.
