His Excellency

Kim Jong Ynu

The Chairman of the State Council

The democratic people’s Republic of

Pyongyang

Dear Mr. Chairman!

We appreciate Your time, patience and effort associated with our recent negotiations and discussions of the summit, which was long sought by both parties and which was appointed on 12 June and was to be held in Singapore. We were informed that the meeting asked North Korea, but for us it wasn’t that. I look forward to meeting with You.

Unfortunately, due to the incredible anger and open hostility You have shown in the last statement, I have found unacceptable at the moment to hold this meeting. Therefore, please consider this letter as a notification that the Singapore summit is for the best for both parties, but to the detriment of the world – will not take place.

You are talking about Your nuclear capabilities, but our – so massive and powerful that I pray the Lord that they were never used.

I was hoping that between us is getting better, the excellent dialogue, and, in the end, only dialogue is important. Once I’m ready to meet you. In the meantime, I want to thank You for the release of the hostages, who are now home with their families. It was a lovely gesture and we are very grateful.

If you change your mind about what to do with this very important summit, then please do not call or email me. The world, and especially North Korea, has lost a great opportunity to find lasting peace, prosperity and enormous wealth. This lost opportunity is a sad moment in history.

Sincerely Yours,

Donald Trump

The President Of The United States Of America
