Orenburg. May 22. INTERFAX – Investigative bodies opened a criminal case on the activities in the Orenburg region in the Russian Federation banned the extremist Association.
On the website of the TFR reported on Tuesday that nine residents of the Orenburg region from April 2017 was organized on the territory of the region the activity of the structural divisions of “Jehovah’s Witnesses”: held meetings and recruited new members.
A criminal case under part 1 of article 282.2 of the criminal code (organization of activities of religious associations, in respect of which the court accepted entered into legal force decision on liquidation in connection with extremist activity), part 2 of article 282.2 of the criminal code (participation in activity of public or religious Association or other organisation in respect of which the court accepted entered into legal force decision on prohibition of activities in connection with extremist activities) and part 1 of article 282.3 of the criminal code (financing of extremist activity).
Defendants charged with. Currently, two of them detained, one sent under house arrest, six others released on his own recognizance and appropriate behavior.
Raman said that the crime was revealed by employees UMVD of Russia across the Orenburg region and the regional FSB.
In the framework of the criminal case at the place of residence of the defendants in Orenburg were searched, seized a large amount of literature and electronic media.
