The Kyiv Prosecutor’s office sent the indictment against five police officers who were involved in serial robberies in the capital’s railway station.

“During the investigation established the involvement of law enforcement officers to commit at least 10 attacks on citizens from March to September last year,” reads the indictment.
The office noted that a group of policemen in the station Kiev-Passenger under a false pretext wound up traveling citizens in the room the police, allegedly for an inspection of their personal effects, and applying force with the use of special means (rubber truncheons, handcuffs and tear cartridges) carried out the robbery.
The attackers robbed the victims of cash, phones and other valuables.
Sent to court indictments against three police officers under part 2 of article 185, part 2, article 186, article 198, part 2 of article 365 of the criminal code of Ukraine. Another policeman is wanted. The fifth suspect made a deal with the investigation.
Recall, cops-robbers was detained September 5, 2017 by staff of the Department of internal security of Ukraine.
