SuRie has revealed that she has some bruises on their hands after a man invaded the stage during their Eurovision performance on Saturday.
The man grabbed the microphone as the singer, who represent the uk in the contest, it was the fulfilment of the Storm.
SuRie said ITV’s This Morning: “There are a couple of bruises from where I was holding the microphone. But I’m good.”
She said that she also was wounded in the shoulder where the man had stormed at her.’I’m going to finish this song”
“There was No time to feel fear,” he said.
“All of a sudden he was there, security was on him as fast as he was on me, he has the microphone for a few seconds, that was out of my hands, but the song was still in progress.
“The backing vocalists were still singing, the people were still singing, so I just turned back of the stage for a moment, but I was still clapping and cheering with the crowd, I simply do not have the microphone.
“I turned around and saw the microphone on the floor, and I thought, ‘well, that is my thing”, I’m going to finish this song.”
The singer offered the opportunity to perform the song again, but he declined after discussing with your team.
“We’ve had that conversation, but I was very proud of that performance,” he explained. “And that works until that time.
“You don’t get the 100 metres sprint at the Olympic games again because his shoelace is untied or something. Had that one shot and that was my moment, and didn’t need to repeat that.
“We’ve had those conversations behind the scenes, I saw the reaction and faces of my team, who were very proud of the recovery and the power of that, and he didn’t need to go out again.”
