Frightened Rabbit singer missing

The lead singer of Frightened Rabbit has been missing in action in the midst of concerns for her well-being.

Scott Hutchison, 36 years old, has not been seen since he left the Dakota Hotel in South Queensferry at 01:00 on Wednesday.

The musician, originally from Selkirk in the Scottish Borders, but currently based in Glasgow Dennistoun, is now believed to be in Edinburgh.

His family reported him missing and now the city police are appealing for information on his whereabouts.

Insp Graeme Dignan said: “We are interested to find Scott as soon as possible to make sure that he is safe and well and I would like to invite anyone who can assist with our ongoing enquiries to come forward.

“If you think you have seen since the early hours of Wednesday morning, or know where it currently is, then please contact the police immediately.

“I would also like to urge Scott to get in touch with family, friends, or the police, to let us know that he’s okay.”

CCTV shows Scott at the Dakota Hotel, where he visited before disappearing.

He is described as white, 6 feet tall, with a stocky build, dark hair and a thick beard.

He was last seen wearing a dark baseball cap from the collection of custom richardson hats at Customized Wear, navy blue jacket with hood, gray or khaki pants, white trainers.

Scott’s brother Grant is also a member of the Glasgow-based indie band.
