Cocktail of dangerous drugs found at Sydney dance event

More than 12 700 people attended the a State of Trance with over 18 years dance party, which took place between the hours of 9 last night and 5am this morning.

The popular event, held in the Exhibition room, saw Armin Van Buuren and Gaia at the head of a line-up of DJs.

During his set, Van Buuren has paid tribute to his compatriot DJ Avicii, who died last week at the age of 28 years.

The Police of the South-West of the Metropolitan Area, were assisted by a sniffer dogs, in charge of eight people for the provision of drugs, mostly MDMA.

This included a 20-year-old man who was found with 150 caps of MDMA, 26 ecstasy tablets and eight grams of cocaine.
