Trump Opec targets on high oil prices

Donald Trump has criticized the Opec oil producer group, namely, crude oil prices are “artificially very high”.

In a tweet, the US President said this was “no good” and “will not be accepted”.

Oil prices rise in the last few months, and on Thursday hit their highest level since February 2014.

Opec and some other oil-producing countries, a reduction of production in an attempt to push up prices.

The curbs started in the beginning of 2017, and currently is set to run at the end of 2018.

In his tweet, Mr Trump said: “it Looks like OPEC is at it again. With record amounts of Oil all over the place, including the fully-Laden ships at sea, Oil prices are artificially Very High! Not good and will not be accepted!”
