Trump stressed the accuracy of the phrase “mission accomplished” in connection with attacks on Syria

The President said that the operation in Syria was made perfectly

The US President Donald trump on Sunday defended his words “mission accomplished” that have been made in connection with the missile strikes of the coalition led by the US against targets in Syria, after the phrase picked up by the media.

The phrase is associated with President George W. Bush, who used her during the war in Iraq in 2003, after which she always associated with him until the end of his presidency.

“The Syrian operation was carried out so perfectly, with such precision that the fake news was going to bring her only one way – to use my expression “mission accomplished”,” wrote trump on Twitter.

“I knew they’d jump, but it’s such a wonderful military term that it should be applied again. To use often,” he added.
