The captain of the detained ship “Nord” said the abuse by SBU

SIMFEROPOL, 3 APR – RIA Novosti. Crew arrested in Ukraine the Crimean fishing vessel “North”, subjected to constant humiliation and abuse by guards and employees of the SBU, said captain Vladimir Gorbenko.

“We have to live with five tons of rotting fish. Constantly breathing polluted air. He also said that a few days ago, the SBU has sealed the hold with operating electrical equipment. The crew can make sure the safety of the devices, so the ship, he said. at any time can start a fire.

“Judging by how we are treated, no one will be saved,” wrote Gorbenko.

The captain also said that after the arrest of the “Nord” he and another sailor suffered a hypertensive crisis while in hospital they refused.

“We did injections and gave supporting tablets. No one even bothered to do the tests, a cardiogram. I don’t know if I could survive this nightmare,” said the skipper.

Crimea became a Russian region after held there in March 2014 referendum in which 96.77% of voters of the Republic of Crimea and 95.6% of residents of Sevastopol voted for joining Russia.
