5 songs you didn’t know were about God

According to a report in The Sun, Justin Bieber is the recording of a religious concept album.

The pop star is said to be in search of songs with a Christian message after you re-connect with their faith through the mega-church Pentecostal Hillsong Church..

“There’s key themes of love and redemption in the tracks that he has created, until now,” a source told the newspaper. “It will certainly surprise some fans.”

The inference seems to be that the pop songs with a religious theme are automatically horrible or, at least, do not fit in the graphics. The devil, as they say, has all the best tunes.

But there are plenty of examples of major artists turning their faith into the great pop songs – from Stormzy’s Blinded By His Grace (“Oh my God, what a God I serve”) Bob Marley One Love (“Give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel good”).

So here are the five other songs that you may not realize that there was a theme theological.

1) Lenny Kravitz – Are You Gonna Go My Way

3) U2 – Until The End Of The World

4) The Byrds – Turn! Turn! Turn!

5) Prince – Let’s Go Crazy

In addition to listening to

Nina Simone – Sinnerman

Bob Dylan – You Gotta Serve Somebody
