The speaker of the Russian Church was saddened by the level of debate between atheists and believers

Moscow. March 23. INTERFAX – Head of the Synodal Department for Church and society and the media Vladimir Legoyda disappointed with the level of discussion between believers and atheists in Russia.

“Looked in the comments under the video excerpt of our V. V. Posner debate to “Rain”. I wish it did… In the “Internet” often say: “the blood from his eyes went”; now know what it is. (…) It is strange and sad that people who consider themselves supporters of Posner did not even try to approach his level of discussion, either of reasoning or in terms of respect for the opponent” – wrote Vladimir Legoyda on Friday in his telegram channel.

He drew attention to the numerous comments in the spirit of “the Church should not” and the complete lack of arguments.

“Of course, we with Vladimir Vladimirovich simultaneously failed to lead a dialogue between believers and atheists to a new level of adequacy, but at least we tried, as the hero of the famous film,” says Vladimir Legoyda, suggesting that either “the comments came bots, or, what is much sadder, people who just don’t want to think.”
