Tillerson reduced tour of Africa to return to the North Korean problem

The Secretary of state will return to the United States a day earlier, ending the meeting in Chad and Nigeria

U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson early will complete a tour of Africa to pursue some urgent issues, including those associated with North Korea.

“In connection with the requirements of its schedule, the Secretary of state will return to the US the day before, completing the official meetings in Chad and Nigeria”, – said on Monday Deputy Secretary Steve Goldstein.

While Tillerson was in Africa, President Donald trump announced that he had accepted North Korea’s proposal to hold talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN. It is expected that the negotiations will be organized by may, but no concrete plans yet.
