The President of the football Federation of Ukraine Andriy Pavelko nominated as a candidate member of the UEFA Executive Committee. This decision was taken by the FFU Executive Committee, held on 3 March in Dnipropetrovsk regional Council, the official website of the football Federation.
The candidacy of Andriy Pavelko received the unanimous support of all present at the meeting of the members of the Executive Committee. “It’s a big responsibility for me, and I am grateful for the trust. UEFA now has a new team headed by President of the progressive by Alexander Catherinem, which supports the football Federation of Ukraine in the implementation of innovations aimed at the development of football in our country” â€“ said after voting for its candidate Andriy Pavelko.
Also, the President of FFU noted that today Ukraine faces new opportunities in the international football arena, but their implementation “will depend on the quality for the finals of the UEFA Champions League”, which will be held in Kiev in may of this year.
