It is the Seat Ibiza Cupra, the new sub-brand spin-off, the hot hatchback version of the Seat Ibiza.
The images, which originate from the Cupra Sport fan Instagram page, display the hatch hot with the new brand logo in a bronze colour viewed on the Leon Cupra R – the last non-Cupra brand Cupra car Seat.
Large alloy wheels and a body kit with aggressive, with the carbon fiber aerodynamic additions, the brand of the car aesthetically to the standard Ibiza, while the carbon theme continues inside, with an airbag cover finished in faux carbon fibre, and a large part of the dashboard is finished to match.
Automatic, shifter confirms that the car will get a DSG gearbox, probably with a manual gearbox also available. No engine details are known, but it is expected that the hot Ibiza will get the same 197bhp, 236lb ft 2.0-litre turbocharged engine as the Polo GTI. Previous Ibiza Cupras were in turn exclusively DSG and manual equipped.
Previous hot many ibizas have been more incisive than the Polo GTI equivalent, with stiffer suspension but the same power and torque as their Volkswagen counterparts.
The Cupra brand is already known to be the production of a hot SUV based on the Seat Ateca, which is thought to make its first appearance at the Geneva motor show next month. The timing of this leak hints that the Ibiza may appear next to it, or shortly after.
Confirmed seat Cupra new position as a stand-alone sub-brand in January, revealing an aggressive-looking of the logo and plans to produce multiple models under the Cupra name, rather than being the Headquarters of the brand.
