BRUSSELS, 17 Dec â€” RIA Novosti, Alexander Shishlo. The murder of a Serb policy in Kosovo, Oliver Ivanovic, in a catastrophic way changed the situation in the region, said Wednesday the Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov.
Oliver Ivanovic, was killed on Tuesday morning with a handgun near his office in the city of Mitrovica. In Kosovo, he had a reputation as a moderate Serb politics. In 2016 he was convicted of war crimes in connection with the killing of several Albanians in 1999 and sentenced to nine years in prison.
“You know what happened yesterday. The shot was fired. One shot and the situation has changed dramatically,” â€” Borisov said in his speech at the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, the broadcast of which led the service of the European Commission.
