Russia insists the Treaty on the elimination of intermediate-range and shorter-range nuclear forces (INF), however, in NATO fear that developed in Russia rocket 9M729 will allow it to mount a surprise nuclear attack in Europe.

U.S. Ambassador to NATO Kay Bailey Hutchinson said Tuesday that, “if Russia does not comply with the contract, she will have to face the consequence of his (contract) no.”
