The Federation of Jewish communities of Russia and tolerance Center launch a joint anti-drug program

Moscow. 8 Feb. INTERFAX – a Joint anti-drug project of the Federation of Jewish communities of Russia and the tolerance Centre of the Jewish Museum will be launched in February, said on Thursday the press service of the FJC.

The main idea of the project is to bring together all possible resources to prevent dependency. The objectives of the project include formation and strengthening anti-drug attitudes in adolescents, qualitative professional help drug addicted people and their environment, the training of specialists in this matter.

“We are very aware that equally competent from preventive work with youth, as well as the knowledge of specialists and participants of the project will depend on the effectiveness of the fight against such terrible phenomena as drug addiction and alcoholism. The joining of forces and resources, the development of close ties and interaction between like-minded people, various experts and relevant organizations is one of the foundations of improving the quality of assistance to drug users and their families in our country”, – said the President of the FJCR Alexander Beard, whose words are reported.

All activities of the joint anti-drug program will be free.
