In the center of Kiev in a historic house on St. Sophia was set on fire. On Thursday, February 8, according to TSN.
As noted in gschs, the fire originated on the first floor of the building.
Thanks to prompt and harmonious actions of the fire and rescue units, at 14:29 the rescuers managed to localize the fire on the area of 50 sq. m and to prevent the spread of fire on the 2nd floor of the building, and at 14:44 â€“ to eliminate.
The cause of the fire becomes clear. No casualties were reported.
As you know, from the balcony of this house in 1918, Mykhailo Hrushevsky, declared independence of the Ukrainian people’s Republic.
