Minsk. January 9. INTERFAX – the Belarusian Orthodox Church expects that the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill to visit Belarus in mid-October for the meeting of the Holy Synod.
“We expect the arrival of his Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill. This will most likely be in mid-October,” – said the Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavl Pavel, Patriarchal Exarch of all Belarus, in his interview to the ONT TV channel.
According to the Metropolitan, the arrival of the Patriarch is that he “wants to have a meeting of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church.”
