“On Friday, December 29, opponents of the construction of a seven-story house on the street Michurina, 44 in Kiev came to the site with a picket. Around 12:25 on the road under construction, burned tires, and then from behind the fence at the protesters flew smoke bombs, firecrackers and stones“, – stated in the message.
In the building under construction seen men in black forms and Balaclava.
In place are the police, but they take a passive position and do not intervene.
The seven-story house on Michurina is built very close to the National Botanical garden named after Grishko of NAS of Ukraine. Social activists argue that the work is being done without permits.
It should be noted, according to the Parliament resolution of 13 January 2009, the area around the Botanical Garden is considered to be a security. To allocate land for a distance of 200 meters from the boundaries of the Botanical garden is prohibited.
We will remind, near the Maidan, two drunken men entered the building, which was guarded by a police guard and threatened them with weapons.
