The former head of the electoral headquarters of Donald trump by Paul Manafort, who was accused of money laundering and working for a foreign government without notifying U.S. authorities, will be released from house arrest.
On Friday, Federal judge Amy Berman Jackson said that they are ready to satisfy the petition of protection, softening the conditions of detention of the suspect. According to the court, after charges by Paul Manafort was placed under house arrest on bail of $ 10 million. Another 5 million have been made as the bonds.
While judge Jackson said that the former head of the electoral headquarters of the President of the United States will not be allowed to leave the house after 9 PM. He also needs to wear a special bracelet with a GPS transmitter.
The charges against Manafort and his business partner Rick gates became the first in the investigation about the Russian intervention in the election campaign of 2016.
Last week, investigators from the group of spectaculara Robert Mueller went to court with a petition, asking them not to consider the request for the protection of Manafort about changing conditions. The reason was the article to one of the Ukrainian publications, written by an ex-head of the election headquarters along with a citizen of Ukraine, who is suspected of the USA in ties with Russian secret services.
However, on Friday judge Jackson decided to satisfy the petition of protection of the Floor of Manafort, stating that the defendant has made a “sufficient financial guarantee”, and pledged to appear at all hearings.
