Saakashvili said when he would return from Ukraine

KYIV, 3 Dec — RIA Novosti. The ex-President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili said that the security services can extradite him from Ukraine next week, in this case, he would prefer to return to Georgia to removal to Europe.

“They have plans to throw me out of the country, they have a joint special operation of the Georgian special services, the Russian security services and the Ukrainian security services. Even if they throw me out next week… And by the way, they want to do, want to grab me and say: well, are you in Georgia, we can offer you in Poland or in the Netherlands; I’ll tell you what I’m going to Georgia,” — Saakashvili said on Sunday evening on air of the Ukrainian TV channel NewsOne.

The former Governor of the Odessa region, noted that Georgia is ready to sit in jail. “Even if I throw even if I get thrown in jail under false accusations, I know what the provocation was being prepared”, — he said.

Saakashvili said earlier that the migration service of Ukraine has extended until March 1, 2018, the validity of the document which confirms the legality of his stay in the country.

Deprived of Ukrainian citizenship Saakashvili on 10 September with the support of the supporters broke through the cordon of guards and law enforcement officers at the checkpoint “shehyni” and got on the territory of Ukraine from Poland. The court found him guilty of illegally crossing the border and imposed a fine in the amount of about $ 130. Saakashvili left Georgia after the inauguration of the new President George Margvelashvili in November 2013. The chief Prosecutor’s office of Georgia in absentia brought to it charges in several criminal cases.

Earlier, the Ukrainian online edition of “Country” with reference to sources in power structures of the country reported that the Ukrainian authorities have decided to deport Saakashvili from the country before the end of the year. Saakashvili himself considers his deportation to Georgia is impossible.
