Sobyanin explained a reluctance to become Prime Minister

The mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobjanin does not intend to apply for the post of Prime Minister. He declared it on air of radio station “Moscow speaking” on Thursday, November 23.

“I have a feeling that special someone before I bought them to intrigue or to entertain. I say to all: colleagues, I feel comfortable to work in Moscow. I believe that it is men’s serious job that you can implement interesting projects. I worked at the AP, I worked in the government. I know what it is. I think this is a very hard thankless job. So if you can, it’s not for me,” he said.

The mayor added that he thinks careerist categories relative increase or decrease. His current position allows him to see the end result of the work done, he said.

October 25, Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin has denied the message of the chief editor of “echo of Moscow” Alexei Venediktov about the possible postponement of the elections of the Moscow mayor in March 2018.

A day earlier, Sobyanin said that does not rule out his candidature at the next election of the mayor of Moscow, to be held in September next year.

Sobyanin was appointed Moscow mayor in 2010, three years later he was re-elected to this post. Before that the politician had held the positions of Deputy Prime Minister and the chief of staff of the Russian government, head of the presidential administration and the Governor of the Tyumen region.
