Cook favorites Selasi Gbormittah and Val Stones are back in the tent, in the framework of a party line.
Channel 4 for the broadcast of two episodes of the series on Christmas – each with four former bakers in a competition for star baker.
The shows will be a function of Prue, Paul, Noel and Sandi to the sides of the eight bakers from previous series.
The signature, technical and showstopper rounds are also back, but with a seasonal twist.
Other bakers to take part of Paul Jagger, Beca Lyne-Pirkis, Benjamina Ebuehi, Rob Billington, the Rav Bansal and Sandy Docherty, who all have played on the show when it was on the BBC.
Val Stone, age 67, has been the most well-known for the dance, while cooking and still be a very large support from his fellow participants.
The stones is remembered for making an emotional leaving the floor after having been eliminated in five weeks in the competition in 2016.
Selasi Gbormittah, 31, has also been a firm favourite on the show, taking part in the sides of the Stones. The banker was liked to be cool and calm, all the way up to the semi-finals.
Paul Jagger, 51, a prison governor, of the series of six, who is best known for his detailed lion bread, will also be appearing in the festive edition of cooking.
This is the first time that a special edition of the Great British Bake Off will air on Channel 4.
