Kendall Jenner named the best paid model

Kendall Jenner has been named the world’s highest paid model by Forbes Magazine, with earnings of $22m (£16.6 m) in 2017.

Jenner, who is part of the Kardashian family, beat Chrissy Teigen, Adriana Lima and Gigi Hadid to the first place.

It was also the first time in 15 years that Gisele Bundchen does not claim the prize, after winning $17.5 m (£13.2 m).

With only 22 years old, Kendall Jenner has the first place, with her earnings more than doubled from last year for us $10 million (£7.5 m) to $22m (£16.6 m).

Jenner has walked for Alexander Wang, Fendi, Chanel, Marc Jacobs and many others this year, along with taking part in advertising campaigns for Estee Lauder and Adidas. Gisele Bundchen

Despite retiring from the catwalk, the past year, Bundchen still came second in the ranking of Forbes’ highest earning model.

He has recorded for Vogue Paris this year and in advertising campaigns of Arezzo, helping to bank $17.5 m (£13.2 m).

Chrissy Teigen joins the best paid list for the first time, thanks to deals with Mcdonald’s, Vita Coco, and Smirnoff.

Liu Wen earned $6.5 m (£5m) in 2017 and became the first Chinese model to appear on the cover of the American edition of Vogue.

At 21 years old, newly arrived from Bella Hadid is the youngest model in the ranking.

Ashley Graham is the first plus size model to make the best paid list after earning $5.5 m (£4.1 m) in 2017.

The 30-years of age, has her own lingerie and swimsuit line, he has also appeared in advertising campaigns with the likes of Lane Bryant, Dressbarn and H&M.

She has also appeared on the cover of Elle magazine, Vogue, and Glamour of this year.
