Former Argentine football functionary Jorge Delhon committed suicide after allegations of corruption. He threw himself under a train, once in the United States brought the case against him in the investigation of corruption within FIFA, reports the BBC.
Delhon and another expert working in the framework of the program “Soccer for all”, received bribes for several million dollars in exchange for the rights to broadcast football matches. Both were responsible for the rights to show matches in Argentina.
Director of sports marketing, FIFA Alejandro Burzaco described in detail in the Federal court of the United States, as his company has paid millions of dollars in bribes to heads the South American football Confederation for 10 years to provide the rights to broadcast major tournaments.
