State Duma Deputy Vitaly Milonov (United Russia) has urged intending to run for President TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak publicly repent for supporting anti-Russian sanctions. His words leads RIA Novosti on Thursday, 9 November.

He expressed confidence that the people will forgive a presenter, if you believe in the sincerity of her apology.
On the eve of Sobchak in an interview with CNN stated that it supported anti-Russian sanctions from the United States. She explained that, in her opinion, Moscow has violated international law, according to which Crimea should belong to Kiev.
27 Oct Sobchak has proposed for the Peninsula new independent referendum. This caused a great outcry and criticism from many politicians. The possible presidential candidate said about the Ukrainian status of the Crimea on 24 October, during his first press conference after the announcement of plans to participate in the election campaign.
Journalist and human rights activist Catherine Gordon, who also intends to compete for the highest office, called such arguments “idle chatter”.
