Klitschko has announced a large-scale test of the capital’s minibuses

After the deadly accident in Kiev, when the bus knocked down two people, the mayor of the capital Vitali Klitschko instructed to conduct a comprehensive review of private carriers. This reports the press service of the KSCA.

The test will have to conduct a Department of transport infrastructure of Kyiv city state administration jointly with the State service for transportation safety.

According to the report, will be checked licenses and the extent to which they comply with the conditions and standards of work of private carriers.

“I was instructed to check licences of all private carriers, minibuses which work in Kiev, and technical condition of these vehicles. And also – how the terms of the licenses correspond to the working conditions of drivers, their professional experience, health monitoring, drivers who travel on the routes and carry passengers,” – said Klitschko.

According to him, “those carriers that do not comply with performance standards, will leave the market of transportations”.

Klitschko also instructed to check the standards of work and technical condition of municipal buses.
