The district administrative court of Kyiv has opened proceedings in the case under the claim eks-the Chairman of Odessa regional state administration, the leader of the “Movement novih forces” of Mikheil Saakashvili. About it reports a press-service of the District administrative court.
According to the report, the plaintiff asked the court to recognize the illegal actions of the Main Department of the State migration service of Ukraine in Lviv region and the acting chief of the Department GMS in the Lviv region Ivanna Ivanochko on drafting and sending Saakashvili a letter with the signature Ivanochko from 29 September 2017.
The hearing will be held on November 30.
Earlier in the GMS said that there are all grounds for expulsion from Ukraine of former President of Georgia and leader of the party “movement novih forces,” Mikheil Saakashvili, because it ignores the issues of resolving their legal status.
According to the statement, 11 September 2017 at 09:00 in the office of the Chief of the management of GMS in the Lviv region, four people who did not provide identity documents, gave a statement to provide additional protection on behalf of Saakashvili. The statement was attached a copy of the passport of the citizen of Ukraine.
It is noted that GU GMS in the Lviv region during the statutory 30-day refused to consider this statement in connection with the fact that the application is submitted with violation of section 8 of part 1 of article 1 (statement of unknown sample) and part 1 of article 7 (the application must be submitted personally or through a legal representative) of the law of Ukraine “On refugees and persons in need of complementary or temporary protection”.
Later the leader of the “movement novih forces,” Saakashvili deprived of Ukrainian citizenship, said he had not received a waiver of the State migration service to grant him political asylum. As proof the politician showed a letter on the letterhead of GU HMS Ukraine in Lviv region, signed by the acting head of the Department I. Ivanochko. According to the lawyer Olga Pedicini, dated September 29 letter was mailed only on October 20.
