One of the leaders of the community Council of Muftis of Russia in Kaluga sentenced to compulsory labour for extremism

Kaluga. 11 Oct. INTERFAX – the Kaluga district court sentenced one of the founders of a local religious organization of Muslims of the city of Kaluga “Sunnah” to 240 hours of obligatory works for extremism, according to the FSB of the Kaluga region.

“It is established that the suspect was posted on the Internet materials of extremist nature, aimed at inciting hatred and enmity among the population by nationality and religion”, – stated in the message Department.

He was convicted under part 1 of article 282 (inciting hatred or hostility, and humiliation of human dignity).

According to the justice Ministry of the Russian Federation, local religious organization of Muslims of Kaluga “Sunnah” is one of the structures of the Council of Muftis of Russia.
