The head of Facebook will testify in Congress

Sheryl Sandberg will meet with congressmen in charge of the investigation of Moscow’s interference in the presidential campaign in the United States

Executive Director of Facebook Sheryl Sandberg Thursday, October 12, will testify in closed hearings of the intelligence Committee of the house of representatives conducting its own investigation of Russian interference in the presidential campaign of 2016.

At the end of September, the company Facebook has transmitted to Congress more than 3,000 political ads placed in social networks by customers from Russia during the election campaign in the United States.

In early November, the heads of leading technology companies, including Google and Twitter, is supposed to testify in the U.S. Congress as part of an investigation of Russian interference.
