On Sunday, Russia holds a single day of voting. On the Peninsula elect the Governor of the city of Sevastopol, as well as held elections to the Crimean Parliament and a number of municipalities.
“We Express our strong protest in connection with the “election process” in the occupied Crimea… a Gross violation of the Russian Federation of international law and laws of Ukraine,” wrote Betz in his microblog on Twitter.
Earlier the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko declared that Kiev will not be able to take the Crimea by force, but to create conditions so that the region has become for Russia a burden. According to him, Ukraine should create conditions to Russia “baked”.
The Crimea was annexed to Russia in 2014. Ukraine and its international partners do not recognize the annexation of Crimea by Russia, recognizing that annexation, in this connection against Moscow was introduced, a number of international sanctions.
