Google sued over sex discrimination

Three women who used to work at Google have filed a lawsuit against the technology giant, claiming that it makes women less than men for comparable work.

The suit says that Google is aware of the situation, but has not moved to resolve the problem.

The company is also under investigation by the Department of Labor for wage discrimination.

The moves come as the Silicon Valley faces greater control on gender relations.

Google has also made headlines at the beginning of this summer, when a memo written by a senior Google employee, who has criticized the diversity programs and hiring practices became public.

Google then fired him.

Women are in search of a class-action lawsuit.
