Alcatel is preparing to release an updated version of the cheaper models Alcatel U5, which they presented at the MWC 2017. The novelty will receive name Alcatel U5 HD and will have a more or less decent performance.

Alcatel U5 HD is still in an ultrabudgetary segment, so will get the HD 5-inch screen, a MediaTek chip MT6737, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory with the possibility of installing a microSD card up to 32 GB, inclusive. The main camera is equipped with a sensor 8 megapixels with HDR effect, its own led flash and interpolated to 13 MP. The front camera has a 5-megapixel module with flash light and interpolation up to 8 MP. During operation, the device meets the battery at 2200 mAh. Manage the appointed device Android OS Nougat. Appearance the camera has not changed: it’s still the same usual plastic case with a rough back cover for a more comfortable stay in the hand and rounded corners.

Alcatel U5 HD needs to present at future IFA 2017, which will be held in Berlin from 1 to 6 September. Information about the release date and price yet.
