In Moscow the protest, according to the organisers, came a few thousand people. Order during carrying out of the services provided by volunteers and Cossack patrols.

Earlier media reported that in the Russian Orthodox Church called standing opponents of “Matilda” a civil action.

The movie “Matilda” will be released on October 26. He talks about the relationship of the heir to the throne, the future Emperor Nicholas II and the ballerina Matilda Kshesinskaya. The painting caused a wide resonance. In particular, the Deputy of the state Duma Natalia Polonskaya appealed to the Prosecutor General with a request to conduct a review in relation to the film.
