UNESCO added the Old city of Palestinian Hebron in the list of world heritage sites under threat

Paris. July 7. INTERFAX – UNESCO on Friday declared the Old city of Palestinian Hebron and the Cave of the Patriarchs world heritage sites under threat, Western media reported.

In addition to the list of voted 12 countries, against – three, six abstained.

It is noted that the Old city of Hebron was the third object that is included in the list of UNESCO as belonging to the Palestinian territories.

In turn, in Israel that decision has called “shameful”.
